98196, Having full throttle performance issues GRRRRRRR Please help! Posted by 95greenhrcgs, Apr-25-06 06:08 PM
OK, I have the 8 injector setup, and it was roughly tuned for 12psi.
Lately the car seems to fall on its face right at 4K rpm. I can do a full pull through the rpm band in first, BUT 2nd-5th is when I run into the prob. Occasionally it will buck once, and then make a loud POP noise, and then continue to not pull hard.
Is this the result of the car pulling timing cause it is too lean? Could this still occur in a too-rich situation? Am I a retard? ( Dont answer this question, for I am sensitive :) )
I was also wondering if anyone is running the HRC inline fuel pump in conjunction with a Walbro 255 like I am? Would it be better to take out the inline and run just the Walbro?

Unfortunatley, I only have the blinky A/F gauge which is useless. I did have a datalogger, but my Palm died, and I ususally had problems connecting also.
Should I take out my inline pump since I have a Walbro? Does it matter?
Thanks

Are you getting any check engine lights? It was weird when I first put mine in it would stutter at 4krpm, but it doesn't do it anymore.

Maybe I should put my "check engine" light back in. OOOPS!!!
But it seems to be just recently that the car started acting up.
