98091, I jus got a good deal on a crank pulley... Posted by Jem09, Apr-21-06 09:58 PM
Peace,
I jus purchased an Unorthodox Racin' Ultra S Underdrive Crank Pulley for $90.00 shipped... It's brand new and was never installed... That's a good $100.00+ off the retail value... I'm aware most of you have or would prefer the AFX pulley, but for $90.00 for a diff. pulley made by an Official company, I couldn't let this chance slip by... All I need to do now is do a lil' homework and find out which belts I'll need for the installation... I can't be without my A/C...
Does anyone have this pulley installed, if so, you know what I'd like to know... I'd also like personal opinions on this pulley, preferebly from those with experience with this pulley specifically...
Peace, Jem

I have the same pulley and I got the same deal from Jegs haha. Yeah the instlation was a bit of a PITA I just bought a puller from sears and it worked great. However, I did snap the stock bolt that holds it on and I am simpley using preassure to hold it on. Its been on for about six months and I have no end play so its good. The gains were very noticable. The car pulls as hard with the ac on now as it did before without it on. Without the ac on it did add quite a lot of pull at all RPM's. The belt numbers on the instructions when you get it. Congrats on a very wise pick up.
