I use the same but I don't consider it cheap. It usually goes for like 6 bucks a quart. If that's cheap, I don't wanna know how much the expensive ones go for.

He's probably saying "cheap oil for now" cause he just rebuilt it. He most likly didn't dump in synthetic expensive oil for the first few thousand miles.

Blizare is right. $5.89 for one quart of mobile 1 is what i'm spending on 4 quartz right now for my cheap break in oil.

I switched to Quaker state Q. Not too bad in price when purchased as a 5qt jug.

Used to be 5w-30 Mobil 1 all the way...I'll get back to it someday if my car ever manages to run long enough to get outta that infernal break-in period

Mobil 1 10w-30 since the breakin was done. Even when I leak oil like a fucking runny nose I still only put in the good shit. Reminds me.. need to find that oil leak and make that place fix it.. nice to have warranties on work haha.

Mobil 1 15w50. I love it. A litle thick in the winter time, but in the summer, it's PERFECT.

I use to use 15w50 Mobil 1 (10w30 before I was turbo), but now I'm using Quaker State Q Advanced Engines, oil as well. It's designed to run in turbocharged motors (unlike any Mobil 1 oil), so it doesn't have the additives that clog up the tiny ball bearings.
