Just wondering if anyone might have an idea why my Eclipse is running like it is. It idles rough and you can smell it running rich. Also it will studder most of the time when I go over 3/4 throttle, sometimes back firing through the intake. I put a scan tool on it and it is coming up with no codes?? Any ideas???

BTW, I have checked the plugs, replaced fuel filter, run cleaner through the tank and cleaned open element filter. Also has Greddy exhaust.

I had a similar problem and it was a cracked spark plug insulator, just a hairline crack that I could barely see.

Plugs are cheap too, just change them out

That would make some sense. I will try that and see what happens. Thanks

That did it! I changed out the plugs and wires and runs smooth as it ever has. Thanks Man!
