I've noticed that since I've rebuilt my engine, I've been leaking oil from my intake cam seal, the same reason that I rebuilt my engine for(not knowing it was just that). Do you guys know any way to help with this? I'm loosing 1 qt. every 1.5 days.

Did you use new cam seals? Did you use RTV on the cam end caps that the valvecover goes over?

yeah new cam seals and I used RTV.

Place a thin layer of RTV around the New cam seal before you put it in place. This will help hold it in place until you have everything tighten down. Will also put a nice seal around the seal. You may have a nick in the head casting where the oil is getting around the seal

1 quart every other day or so is a bit much to be coming from a nick.

Can you verify that its actually the cam seals and not, say, the oil galley plugs in the head, or the main oil galley plug further down on the block?

You can see the oil run down the filter and drip. I also noticed a little oil residue on the top of the alternator bracket. I can tell it has ran down the back side of the block. But like you said, it is alot to be losing from a cam seal. When it was doing it before, it was 1 qt every oil change. The seal on that was messed up though.

If your losing that much take off the timing cover then start the car you should see it running somewhere. I missed the 1qt a day When you start your car you should see it running on the ground

ok, this is what I found. Right about the oil filter mount is where it is leaking and it's leaking quite a bit. I was under it and you could see it just seeping out from it. I'll have to get it on a lift to get a better look at it but I'm thinking I can take some RTV and put it there just to seal it temporarily but I don't really think that'll work too well. I am almost positive I'll have to pull the front timing cover and pull the oil pump cause I believe this is a part of it.

maybe the oil filter adapter is missing its o-ring? Maybe the 22mm nut on the oil filter adapter backed off?

Just suggestions.

I'm gonna check that tomorrow. Hopefully I can get it up on a lift for some more working room. I atleast now know where I am getting the leak from so now the fun begins.
