IS there a place that I can buy an already built up motor??? I mean already rebuilt turboed and has aftermarket parts already installed... I need to get my motor rebuilt anyway..

your best bet is to buy the parts you want and have a local machine shop that is familiar with the motor type rebuild it for you.

Def. go with what they said. You don't wanna be one of those people who just hands people your car and say's "Get er' Done" now do you??

It's not a good thing to NOT know anything about your car when you go to the extent of having a built, non-turbo, turbo car.

I would get a machine shop to build my motor with the parts I choose to put in. I mean, thats what I did. :)

Thats also what i did. I just had the shop put in the piston rods and crank(clean and check the head) for 300

Personally, I would do everything myself just to make sure its getting done right. by everything i mean all things besides boring and honing and head work. but if you dont have the time, then do what they said, and buy the parts first, then have a very reputable shop hook you up. the more you know, the less shit you will be in later on.

Okay, but he doesn't sound like he has the apptitude to do it himself. No offense. ;) but have you built a motor before?

If so, then awesome. If not, get someone who builds a motor or 2 a day (at a machine shop) to do it.
