I thought I would throw these up here to see what everyone thinks. I should be dropping her in this week. That means I should actually be driving it again by next week. :D

May be a stupid question, but what happened, did you blow it? I don't really follow the turbo section that much since I'm not (yet).

No, I didn't blow it, that is my old engine just re-built. I guess I should have said improved engine rather than new. I blew the stock clutch up at the end of last year, so when I replaced it I went ahead and did the whole engine. I added Crower rods, Wiseco pistons, the recip. assy was balanced, and all the usual crap included in a rebuild. I also put in RC 440's. Besides that, I did alot polishing, painting and some chroming. I will put up some pics of everything when it's all done.

Hey BLKOUT, The motor looks great! I bet it'll run really nice with all the new goodies too...Good luck! Also, how exactly are you polishing? What's involved? The valve cover for example, that looks really good and I'd like to attempt it when I do my internals a few months from now.

Thanks-

Sweet Blackout. Looks great. Let us know how she runs.

I like your excuse to rebuild the engine, the clutch went.

Well I need an oil change in a few hundred miles I think I'll pull the motor out and rebuild mine too ;-)

Thanks alot guys. I just got done putting the engine & tranny back in. The car should be done by this week-end. Phrenzy, I didn't do the polishing myself. I attempted it, but it's just too hard and time consuming to do without a big machine.

...did you rebuild the engine yourself or are you just swapping in the rebuilt engine?

The engine is my factory engine, I just built it up. I didn't actually do the building of the bottom end, I had a shop do that. Other than that, I have done all the work myself. Hopefully it will run as good as it looks. :)
