That's cool but why is this in int/ext?

so what turned out to be your problem, the head studs? offtopic was it that big of pain to pull the head off? I got a leak from my driver side rear headbolt and i need to replace the gasket now. I would rather do it myself and save some cash, so i can get you my headliner! lol, good luck man if you want some help let me know.

Dude, that might not be your head gasket. It's more likely the result of a long head bolt. Take the bolt out, and shave a few threads off it and put it back in. It should fix the problem. Search for long head bolt, or shaving head bolt for more explanation.

Just want to save you some time if it's really the problem.

yeah thats what i was thinking, but then again it might not have a thing to do with it. All i know is where its leaking from its ending up dripping from the bottom of my tranny, right where it bolts up to the engine. So i wont know for sure until i clean out my engine bay so i can see where its coming from. I think its either the block or the tranny seal(im assuming we have one like most cars, correct me if im wrong) But first thing first is my 60k that im 6 thousand over due now. Thanks for the heads up, ive known about that so ill see whats up after i pull off the head.

If you find that you're losing oil from the seam between the bellhousing and the block, you're looking at a rear main seal leak. There is no tranny seal there. In fact, if you look towards the bellhousing from under the oil pan, you can simply remove three bolts (two on the clutch slave and one on the panel) to get access to the bellhousing if you wanted to take a peak inside for any oil or whatever.

Head was actually pretty easy, got it out with intake manifold and turbo all connected, just disconnected the downpipe and timing belt, took out the cams and lift. If you need help with yours let me know, I've done it enough on this one to have it down. Not sure what the problem was, everyone I've talked to is assuming when it went into boost, it was seeping between the layers. Got the new cometic gasket sitting here, just waiting on my head studs, and have the head at the machine shop getting check up, and possibly resurfaced.

Why is your coolant so green? You do dilute it 50/50 with water right?

I think its just the pics, it should be almost pure water, I had to replace the heater hoses recently and emptied most of the coolant out and filled with water, and in person it didn't look nearly that green.

i had a leak that was runing down the back of the bellhousing, turned out to be a bad heater cores hose......lol...somtimes it can be the simplest of things

Ill be checking my bellhousing before i go buying parts. Yeah i may take you up on your offer, at least maybe for my 60k cause i dont have lift and setting the timing was something i was alittle unsure about. If you could help me with that ill shoot you some money for it, cause paying something like $800 for labor wasnt my cup of tea. I'll gladly help with it, i just didnt want to go trying by myself and end up screwing something up. Ill send you a pm on it once i know where my leak is coming from and when ill be getting my belt, waterpump, etc. for the 60k. Thanks man
