don't know if you all have seen this or not but came across this through a friend:

<img src="" alt="4G63 in the Avenger" />
<img src="" alt="Engine bay shot" />
<img src="" alt="Finalstages" />

we all know he had to drop some serious cash to get this to work. hopefully he'll add some more pics and details later. just thought i'd post it up if it hasn't been seen.

that's a swap from Jason Lee's shop
he's a member of ASEC and ASOG

that car belongs to another ASEC member

Jason Lee can do a swap for a starting price of $6000 for a plain jane 2g swap with no goodies
add more cash and you have AWD with a custom drive shaft , Avenger has a longer wheel base

he has done 3 including his own car

easy to make it look good when the trick is to get a GSX or GST and swap every single parts under the hood down to the last one

however you are looking at a few hundred hours of workshop here

Hands down on quality and looks great, but I think money could have been spent better elsewhere. Instead of spending tons of money on the swap, it could have been put into other good things like a badass intake mani, turbo mani or anything else for the 420a. Quality is A+ though, just a waste if you ask me.

wow nice it can be done. Now is it worth it? Beats me that looks like it took a lotta work but I know some people have successfully done the swap into 2GNTs, hmm that'd be smog legal if you took it to the ref wouldn't it if you were in california that is.

Wow he used a flexible water hose for the bypass hose why didn't I think of that!
