95695, Car not performing well unber boost
Posted by 95greenhrcgs, Jan-13-06 08:47 AM
My car started hesitating under light throttle and under boost in the past week. I figured that it was either the plugs, wires or O2 sensor.

I replaced the plugs, they looked like they were fouled, and the car does not hesitate any longer.

However, under full throttle boosting, the car sounds like its hesitating and missing or something. Do you think that I should replace the O2 sensor?
My A/F guage still cycles like normal, so I am not sure. What do you think?

Also, my EGT is going Schitzo on me. Do you think that any of this could be related to the hesitation in some way. Is there a way to clean the probe safely without damaging it?

Thanks in advance!

Test the resistance on your MAP and front o2 sensor and let us know what voltage you come up with.

Also, if yuor needle on your EGT gauge is going whacko, just tighten up the nuts on it, I bet its loose.
