i got my msd dis 2 installed in my 99gs eclipse turbo.
everything from the msd to the ignition coil is hook up etc, my car runs fine with the bypass connector which makes my ignition stock! problem is that when i hook up the power for the msd dis2 to the battary and ground my car will run by will idle very bad LOW plus like its broken?, also when i add the msd tach adapter pn8912 to the msd to tap etc like the manuel says, my car will not start? it will crank but not start?. what the hell is going on ? i just need one tach adapter right ? is this the right one?. also i see it has a tach output next to the led monitor does anything go there for the 420a 99 non turbo eclipse?. my car runs and drives fine with the by pass ( making the ignition stock ) so that cant be the problem with the wire hook ups? also my msd and tach is under my passenger seat so i had to extent the wires to let you know. also is the led monitor always on once u crank it or ? also if it is or not what do u have hooked up tach or no etc? my friend with a gst said, he has to use the output of the tach next to the led but for us ( eric c ) said, we dont its just used for our rpm?... i need help asap

you have the exact system i will be putting in my car in a week or so, unfortunetly i can't give you any advise. The parts sound right, the same ones MSD surgested me to get. As far as what is going on.. i personally would talk to MSD, they were a huge help with me, and answered any questions i had.

It is possible you have a bad MSD. I went through that and had to get a new one sent to me. It is not the only case of I have heard of either. Mine is under the passenger seat asd well btw. Have you called MSD yet?
