well i never had a block done from anyone before, but have experienced exile, as have a lot of other people on here, and i bet you will hear a lot of good things about exile, and believe me, they are good people down there, you may have to wait a while for them, but they are definately worth the wait

100% Exile racing, I emailed Concept illusions about their downpipe about 4 times and never once got an email in return, as well as other products I have asked about. Exile got my Spec stage 4 to me in a jiffy. I'd go with Exile. ~Jeffo

Have really read nothing but good things bout Exile and their blocks. Actually haven't had any problems with ConceptIllusions, I actually chat with Shaun like everyday or so. I'm in the same situation as well, looking for a built short block during this winter. CI has been good to me so far, and customer service is usually pretty good, at least for me it is. Try messaging him on AIM @ ConceptIllusions. I think I'm gonna get my block and other misc parts from them so I can give some feedback to everyone else about it, since we all know that Exile is good.

1. WHY... would you kinda like to stay away form Howell? 2. Do a search for Concept Illusions, and read what we think about it till your eyes bleed. your only two choices should be between exile and howell!

Well, Howell only took 6 months to mail my AFX Ecu to me, but they did sent me a free AFX underdrive pulley for my suffering, so that was cool. But, it would have to be between Howell and Exile like Tim said, just be prepared to wait unless you just do it yourself. ~Jeffo

lol timmy you never bought from them, remember? you're so silly! you always forget...
CI gave me a free replacement AND a full refund when they sent me a defective part. no complaints here. customer support was top notch IMO. (timmy thinks i support them b/c of all the hot buttseks i get from shaun)
howell told me to fuck off when a coilpack i bought developed a crack and nearly electrocuted me to death. they said it was not possible for the product to be defective and i must've broken it on my own. (their buttseks was not great also)
haven't dealt with exile so i can't really say. i guess it'd be silly for me to give an opinion on a company i never dealt with (but i have heard their buttseks is the roxxors)
