Missed a couple forums! Interior, turbo, for sale/ wanted, audio, announcements. Make sure to post in all those next time too!
K? Thanks.

Seriously, just get rid of the OBX fuel, if you know what you're doing, you would know better than to use that OBX fuel rail, it sucks. Not only does it not lign up when you bolt it to the manifold plenum, you need to get a different O ring for the fuel line so it won't leak. The injectors will sit crooked when it's installed, I would seriously contemplate getting rid of it. But, if you absolutely feel the need to use it, good luck and I hope all works out for you. ~Jeffo

Agreed. The stock fuel rail will suffice without headaches.

BLAH! I disagree. I use the OBX fuel rail and it works fine. I did have to change the oring before I switched all my fuel lines to braided lines, but hell, the oring was like 15 cents. My fuel rail bolted right up to the stock intake plenum too. I later switched to the Venom intake manifold and it fit perfectly into that too. Dont talk down on a product you never used! SEE:

do you have the 450cc injectors or the stock injectors because the 450cc i have are from the 1g and the ends are to big to fit on the obx fuel rail. the only thing that i can think of is to bore the holes out so the can fit into them. also like a moron i bought the intake manifold to and the 450cc dont fit into them either same situation probably have to bore out to fit and im not even going to wast my time an either of them. ill just stick with stock intake manifold and get it ported and stick with the stock fuel rail unless there is anyone who can talk me into making them work. screw obx.

you should have done research first before you went out and bought everything. obviously since the 1g's have different engines than ours, what made you think it would be okay to just slap them in? usually, shit like this, doesnt work. why dont you just sell the injectors and get injectors for the 420a? no i dont use 450's by the way, i use RC 440's. all my obx shit i used worked fine. i use the venom intake manifold which is the same thing pretty much as the obx intake manifold, and i love it, along with the obx fuel rail. you just need to research shit first before you jump into buying stuff man.

Mike you didnt even take you own advise here: dont talk down a product you never used.
The 450cc dsm injectors do fit, they work just fine. As search would yield some very good info to getting them installed.
Some facts about the dsm injectors:
1. dsm injectors are low impedance.....did you plan to make or use a resistor pack? you need to.
2. Ends of the DSM injectors are not larger they are much smaller.
3. Are you using 420a injector o-rings?
Most people have been able to lube up the o-rings and force the injectors into the rail. I myself had to trim the injector o-rings with a dermel on the inside of the o-ring to make it sit into the injector groove better. You see on the injectors that they are designed to use a tiny o-ring and the 420a o-ring is huge compared to them.
You need to be extremely careful trimming an injector o-ring because if they leak you are in deep shit.

dang what is up with the hostility. ok i got the injectors to fit into the fuel rail but what about the intake manifold. any ideas

also i have the obx intake manifold and i dont see how the obx fuel rail can bolt or be supported by the IM anyone with prior experiance please let me know.

Hostility? I dont see any.
For the obx manifold....that i am not sure i havent seen one. post some picts maybe we can figure it out. if it doesnt have the same mounts the factory manifold has then maybe you are better off sending it back and getting one that does. I dont understand why it does not have the stock mounts.

ok this is the deal the obx is the same as the venom IM like mikes pics it is almost the same but on mine were mike has his fuel rail mounted my obx mount is to far up and angled all stupid instead of straight i guess i will be sending it back oh well.

Terry, I know how the 450's work, lol.
They are indeed too small and need larger o-rings. I used to use the blue top 450's before. My point was that he was confusing himself on what he was saying on how they were larger when in reality, they are smaller.
As for your manifold problem man, my OBX fuel rail bolted right up to my Venom manifold. My points at which the fuel rail bolts to the manifold are angled too but they did bolt right up, no problems.
Also, you will need to use a resistor pack with those injectors since they are LI.

yeah sorry about that i was mixing my words up about the size i do have the resister for the 450cc but yeah i was looking at your pics and saw that my mount was all jacked up. even if i got the injectors straight the mount is way to far up and crooked. ill be sending it back oh well.
