Why would you use the term "infamous"?

Dino has his 2.4 runnign for some time now. Whodatt had his 2.6 running for a while until the car was broken into.

turbo8u's block is currently on a stand but from what i've heard through the grapevine, there's about ten 2.4's in running condition. mine should be back up in a couple months or so, provided the new job works out as planned, i'll keep everyone who cares posted.

Yep mine runs. I was driving it to. I had to get my alternator voltage regulator under control but now it is all good. Completely standalone with the msns. Just finishing up the gauge panels and stuff, I have all winter though till next season. Maybe i will take some video for everone.

onebaddsm98 has had his running for well over a year now. He dosent post much but its a 2.4 with SRT internals, crane cams and a custom T3/T4 bb turbo setup.

Heck Yes.

2.4s are pretty much the coolest engines ever made.

it seems like the 2.4 project has become the "big secret" for some of those in progress. i'm guessing that there's approximately 15 to 20 people that have done it and ran it... and i'm sure there's at least 20 more cars on jacks with 2.4's awaiting drive time, i've got 2 of my own so it surprises me that there is not more interest in this... but i guess time will tell in this case. i took as many pics as possible of my swap and they're on here if you search around. it's like "the have's... and the have nots" around here, just like high school, huh???

All the info is here...ppl just gotta look for it. Why should we spoon feed everyone, when nobody spoon fed us? To use a cliche...if your interested in doing this "search". And if you have specific question hit someone up that has it done with a PM...I for one would be happy to help then.

kent, you know that i'm all for helping anybody also, and yes you're right about the info being around. maybe we should request a separate forum title for this info?? thus, making it a little easier to locate, and therefore cut back on the repetative questions.

a specific 2.4 swap section would be great
as long as 2.4 is in the tittle so newbies won't ask about 4g63 swap
