Well I finally braved the compression monster and checked. I figured with me driving it like I stole it, #'s would be a lot less... 154k+ and they look like this:
1- 200 2- 210 3- 200 4- 208
Now time for a new water pump and timing extravaganza... Note to self... Purchase required parts. Contact the SOVA Boys and beg for help!

Eh from all the motors i have pulled apart, especially in our cars, the cylinders hold up very well. Quality of metal used in the Rings has obviously evolved very well since the 60's and 70's where your cylinders needed to be re-ringed at 80k. I was surprised at the condition of my 97 cylinders at 115k as well.
Enjoy

Excellent results, Pappy! :thumbsup I don't even pull down numbers that good with 10.5:1 pistons! (Stupid HG. x()
Make sure you check out the Parts Dinosaur here in Phoenix. Good prices and excellent service from what I hear.

I pulled almost the same exact numbers at 136k. I about crapped my pants, I was expecting 170ish, is'nt it great to know that it held up with the way you drove it? I drove the same way.

Actually I was expecting less... I am pretty hard on her... Driving the 'Bourbon more now due to the leakage... Love my Talon though. She is a great car!

Wow, good numbers bro, those are real similar to mine(@180K). let us know when you get the parts to do the timing/water pump/ etc etc. I'll help out
----------- the first solution that comes to mind for any new problem with my car usually involves a can of bad gas and a match....:wallbash

I bet the harder driving helps to hold the rings to the cylinder walls? My first 2gnt would have been fine if it wasn't for that pesky spun rod bearing. My 2nd 2gnt would have been fine if it wasn't for the piston chewing on a valve head.
Overall, I agree with Terry, I pulled another, 3rd, 420a apart at 160k miles, and I was impressed with the condition of the rings & cylinder walls.
I'd be happy if my car will push those numbers when it's back together. Hell, my cougar barely pushes those numbers at 11.5:1, but I've got 9* of overlap at 0.050 lift }(
