The EVO 8 runs a 4G63T similar to that in GST's and GSX's the fact that the engine sits the same way as our 420a doesn't mean the cams will fit our motor's. If you want cams get Crane's or Crower's for the 420a. This is the Kind of question that pisses the moderators off :nono . Use the Search tool on the site there has been tons of threads discussing the best cams to use for our motor's. For both Turbo and NA applications.

Yea, there's no way you are going to get those cams to fit in a 420a. Well, almost no way.

Or you could just do it the ghetto way and dremel them down until they fit.

I'm a proud owner of thedawg's 4G63 install kit. When I got the package in the mail I couldn't believe how well designed all the parts were. Fitment wasn't even an issue, as all mounts and brackets bolted up without a problem! It's pretty sweet telling people you swapped a 4g63 into your 420a platform.
