sorry if this isnt in the correct topic place
ok i have a apexi rsm that im trying to hook up and apexi never installed one on a 420a, and i have yet to see on installed on one.

but here are the wires and where i tap the wires from the ecu

RSM:
1. red: IG power
2. Yellow: RPM
3. Black: Ground
4. Purple: speed 1 input
ECU:
1. black/white: ecu main power
2. white: tach signal to hvac eco & gauge cluster
3. black: ground
4. ?????????
the last wire #4 thats where i need the help. i dont know which wire it is from the ecu, i already checked the pinouts and cant find it.

I'd say this belongs in the A/V forum, as this device has nothing to do with either monitoring or modifying engine function.

He's wrong, you're right, don't worry bout it.

There have been several people here that have had that hooked up. Search around and you should find some answers, worst case scenario is to have to use a combo of the SAFC install and some other wiring diagrams. Piece of cake really.

No idea what you are talking about there bucko. :shrug

Look at the ECU pinouts in the Info&Specs section of the main www.2gnt.com website. Speed signal is yellow, white stripe, i think.. but look at the pinouts and verify that, then just find that wire color.

well after i hit the search but ( newbie mistake) i finally found the wire. ill post pics of it once its hooked up i already have it mounted i just need to attach it
