While doing timing belt, I have seen the pass side and front motor mount, they are 70% torn I Assume that the rest of the motor mounts are in the same condition. I have seen plenty posts about inserts, but what would be the point of them if the main bushings are torn?

So I think first I need to get new motor mounts right?
If that is right than I would want to get motor mounts with polyurethane bushings already in them instead of the inserts?
Now I was unable to find any of those can any one give me a link or a suggestion.

If complete polyurethane mounts are unavailable where would I look for new motor mounts besides the stealer? I checked AutoZone they have only front and rear and transmission. So the pass side is stealer only?

I believe it replaces the whole thing, but I haven't bought them, so I couldn't tell ya.

Just get a solid front mount from howell, the side one really doesn't do anything. If you buy from there ebay auctions you save like 15 dollars. 55+ shippping right from howell. Though xtremeRS makes them and may still have some for 45 and his quality is way better imo.

i just got the prothane insert kit from ebay a week ago. it comes with front and back inserts and completely solid side mount inserts which means u have to press out the current rubber stock insert and put the new ones in. but i must say its the best thing i ever bought for my car. it makes a world of difference in alot of ways. it only cost 55 total with shipping. i would get that. it helps alot. only thing it does though is makes ur car vibrate alot inside but thats a minor thing compared to all the good.

I have the Solid AF/X front mount from Howell. It's GREAT eliminated wheel hop entirely. great investment and easy install.I Highly recommend it. I found this while looking for ways to stiffen up my other 3 mounts. I will be doing this when I get home from deployment. For your issue with torn rubber, this should bond the whole bushing together and you should not have to replace anything. Read and let us know what your thinking.

I have seen the kit form howell but because it looks like it's a two piece for each mount I am not sure if that is what I want. I was thinking a complete one piece replacement for each mount. That said I want to mention that I don't have time/resources to press it in or out myself I was thinking of a complete replacement for the stock mount with everything installed already. Just a bolt on complete motor mount. Than again maybe I'll just give them a call and find out what is the procedure for the installation

Solid one is completely out of the question in my opinion cuz I am nowhere near any high hp output and I am plenty happy with the traction I am getting. In the future close to 666 hp (my projected goal in 10 years) I will consider getting solid mount.

When I saw corbins DIY I was thinking that self made filled motor mount is a good idea, but not when my original ones are already cracked/torn, however it would be an interesting project to do that just to experiment.

I guess the order of things for now will be filling the stock mounts if it doesn't work get the complete bushings, once on the approach to my projected hp I will get the solid motor mount.

If any one can suggest a website with complete polyurethane motor mounts for sale please do, that way I will save myself some money and get some quality stuff right away.
