Sup guys.
I finally got to install the WBO2 to my eclipse this weekend. Everything went kinda smoothly.
I first installed it at the rear O2 sensor location, but then I realized the manual said if a turbo car, I should install it before the Cat. Also I read and the O2 sensor contains 2 analog output, and one digital output. 1) 0-1.2V 2) 0-5V 3) serial port for laptop. And it said the analog output 1 is simulating the narrow band o2 sensor.

So I just move the WBO2 to the front O2 sensor, and connect the stock Front O2 sensor's signal to the WBO2 analog output 1 signal.

I start the car, and things are fine at first, and my A/F narrow band gauge read as .682 (around) and after 30 second or so, my car start to die. RPM drop to like 100 or so, and spit out alot of SMOKE. I was so DAMN scared. the car jumps like hell prolly coz it wants to die. I shut it off. and do'nt know what to do.
I unplug the Simulated Narrow band output wires, and so the car has no O2 sensor seem by the ECU, and it is fine, but just running super rich. but as soon as I hook up my WBO2 simulator signal, the car is crazy.

Just add another o2 sensor bung on the dp for the wideband sensor. Generally, it is hard for our car's to accept simulated wideband sensors... don't know why. I tried doing that with my zeitronic wideband and it worked for about a day. Then it started to die, crappy CRAPPY idle. I fixed it by ditching the simulated narrowband and just ran both sensors on their respective bungs. There's no way around it, unless you have an MS or aftermarket ecu.

Your ECU cant tune your fuel curve based on a simulated input. that is only there to keep the CEL away when you are using mega squirt or other stand alone. You can't use that to let the ECU run the car. I knew this post was going to be comming before too long...

Just to clarify you can have them both installed if you put in a second bung. You can still use the WB if you do that, you just cant use it like you want to until the ECU is no longer controling fuel.
