Sup guys. Ok, the last one I posted for a cheap AEM WBO2 sensor, I guess it's completely out of stock, so I found this. $199.
I know it doesn't come with the gauge, but it has the controller and the sensor. so if I got the MegaSquirt-II with v3.0 board. Can I just that that $199 sensor and controller and connect it to the MS-II and it will work?
if it will work, then I do'nt need the gauge then.

this seems to be pre translated to work with an autometer guage. I doubt it would communicate with the MS without some work on your part, given previous history I would say that would be a bad idea for you. Plus you will want one that will feed the ECU a "fake" narrow band signal.

Why does it maqtter what the stock ECU thinks about anything when you're running what amounts to a standalone? that's silly.

That thing is worthless. It's basically translating a 5V source into a 1V source so you can see it on your POS Autometer A/F gauge. Plus you'll still be stuck with blinky lights with no digital read out. I doubt you'd be able to send whatever signal that things spits out to a MS as a real wbo2 5V signal.

Can I get just a sensor and a controller, (with no digital gauge) then I can just hook it up to my MS-II? Coz if the WBO2 is hooked up to the MS-II, I can read the signal (the a/F ratio) from the laptop, so I dont need the digital gauge right? save myself $100.
and I will put the WBO2 at the rear O2 sensor location. so I will still have the original O2 sensor.
Please let me know if it's ok for the setup I mentioned above. Thanks.

Well I know it's not "necessary" but if your going to leave the stock ECU in place for idle control might as well keep it happy.. Although I guess with the new board and it's capabilites you may be removing the Stock ECU. I'm working on my thoughts for the old board, and it's capabilites. Plus do you really want to answer the question that would follow?.. "IPUt in meGa SquIORT in and NOUW i got the CELLLLL HelP????"

that link you posted is just an innovate motorsports lc-1. It'll work with the ms no problem.
edit: you can get it from diyautotune.com or from their ebay store for the same price. (i have it :))

nope. the lm1 has a bigass ugly readout (imo). the lc-1 is just the sensor and the controller, they have a gauge to go with the lc-1 too, but its another $1xx in addition to the base lc-1.

The MS2 processor isn't ready yet. I have one right here and I replaced my old MS1 processor with it the other day and tried it on the stimulator, even the newest software is lacking big time compaired to the -extra code for the MS1. Give it about a month or two and you will start to see some useful, stable code out there unless you want to try to port from assembly to C on your own.
