Ok I was attaching a fitting to the service point of the fuel rail for my fuel press gauge and SNAP it breaks off. Now I have a hole in my fuel rail where the fitting was so here is my question I have the early fuel system with the regulator on the rail so will the OBX rail work? Or should I just try to find another OEM rail or have this one welded?

I had to go to a dyno session yesterday so I JB welded the fitting back on and it worked for the dyno but noticed it was leaking a small amount of gas from the jb weld when I got back home.

Ok did some more research and forget that OBX rail I just want to keep the OEM one. I do not have time to get it welded until this weekend so is there anything better then JB weld I can use to hold me over that you guys might know about?

It is unlikely that you will be able to get a good weld on there. The rail is made of mild steel with a brass coating. You should be able to braze to it though. I bet you could buy a used fuel rail from a board member for less than the cost of servicing this broken rail. And I wouldn't drive unless it was an emergency. If it is already leaking, it might just give way on you. You would be in a world of shit if the whole thing broke off. You would cover the engine bay in gas before even noticing. It wouldn't take much to ignite that.

No S#@t I had my eye on it the whole time it was on the dyno, Ill just try to take a shot in the dark with getting a hold of a used one but with it having the fuel press reg on the rail that does not make it any easier, oh well thanks for your help.

if you're using an external regulator anyway (Areomotive, SFMU, etc) then you don't want the regulator on the rail working anyway.

I'd just start looking for another fuel rail, personally.
