when i floor it from a dead stop, or almost floor it, and rpms go almost to redline, when it shifts, it makes this explosion noise, if i floor it, it doesnt do it as bad, but if it shifts b4 it should, like if i took my foot off the gas b4 redline, it will do it real bad, does anyone know what this could be?

are you actually hitting redline? the rev limiter freaked me out the first time i heard it. If your leaving your foot on the gas while your shifting.. definately not good, probably hitting rev limiter.

its an automatic, and if i floor it and dont take my foot off the gas at all, it will do it, or if it doesnt get enough gas to hit redline, and it shifts b4 it normally should, it will do it even worse, i think i read somewhere that the valves may be bent slighty, but i dunno

When mine was an ATX, it did it all the time. I dont know what it is, but I do know its nothing to worry about.

man, i sure hope so, i thought i had bent valves or sumthin, i wish it would go away cuz its so embarresing
