9184, Spark Plug question Posted by 1FastEclipse, Nov-30-01 03:35 AM
I have Bosch Platinum Plugs with Boss plug wires. Are the NGK Racing Spark Plugs actually better than those? What about the wires? Thanks

I dont know why but I have never been a bosch fan... I have always used NGK plugs and NGK wires or Vitek Wires when I have the extra money.

I am a fan of the NGK's. When I had my new engine installed I had some bosch's in the engine when it blew. When we took the head off my machanic Jeff said that those plugs are not good for are cars. He said the NGK's are the best. Just letting you know what he told me.

9189, that is a small gap Posted by DeanoD, Dec-01-01 02:34 AM
Try opening them up to .048-.050 for a bigger spark. Much better fuel burn with the hotter plug.
