91625, quick help guys... arp head studs Posted by gilee_8, Jul-18-05 03:45 PM
Sup guys. I searched already. some said 65ftlb, some said 70 or 80. but then dino/darkone said 90-100ftlb.
But then others said more ftlb is required for more boost level. If I plan to run 10-15PSI. what should I set it to?
coz some said 80 is fine, and others said 90-100...
The questions are: 1) What torque spec do I use on the bolts? 2) for stock, outer bolts are less in torque spec, do I do the same for ARP studs? 3) for all the torque specs you guys mentioned before, do I still need to do the 1/4 turns?
I am working on my engine as we speak! pleaes give me help asap! Thanks all. Gil

I always torque them to 90ft/lbs, minimum. Anything less is a waste of time and a good stud, in my opinion.
