I tee'd the low speed fan relay output (neg. trigger) from the ECU to a switch in my interior. It functions how I want (since the charged side of the fan relay has +12v only when the ign switch is on), I leave the switch in the on position, and anytime my car is running the fan runs, but if I turn the switch off the fan functions normally.

Well, I get a CEL 35 "Low speed fan control relay circuit" when I ground the fan signal from the ecu to trigger the relay. I suppose if I put a diode before I tee off to my switch it would prevent this?

If you have a lower than stock temp. thermostat the stock fan trigger of 206* would cause a bad variance of engine temperature. I'm sure other people here have done a switch like this to keep your temps around what your thermostat is suppose to be and not wonder around?

why do you have a control for the second fan? why not just have them both come one at the same time?

I only have one fan (driver side). My other doesn't quite fit.

The temperature variance is not a real issue.

If you don't want a CEL for it, don't ground the trigger, supply 12v instead. i think its the middle pin you want.
