Sup guys.
I am in the middle of rebuilding my bottom end engine.
And I know from many other people that when HAVING hard right turns will cause oil to go all to the left and make the engine suffer from lack of engine oil and spun some rod bearings.

So I am wondering, can I use some stainless steel or alumimum and make the oil pan baffle myself. is it possible?
-by cleaning the inside of the oil pan really good.
-sand a little for the part I will put the mental pieces on
-use JB Weld to glue the pieces into the oil pan.

Is it a good idea? I used JB Weld for the oil return line socket at the oil pan. I drove for 1 year (15,000 miles) and it all looks good when I take it off.

Any opinions on this?

Can someone please post a picture of how their oil pan baffle looks like?

I wouldn't trust JB weld to hold chunks of metal to my oil pan. The shit will really hit the fan if it ever fails.

If you need an oil pan baffle, crankscrapers.com makes a nice unit. I have one, it is well designed and it works perfectly.

neither would I. And most baffles have trap doors, 1 way doors, whatever you want to call them. I wouldn't go fussing around in there unless you know how to weld and unless you know the resting level of the oil under driving conditions etc. There are too many variables to just throw some stip metal in your pan with jb weld. Imagine, in your mind, what it would look like if a 6" piece of sheet was thrown into your crank spinning at 6000 rpm.

So how much you paid for your baffle?
do I HAVE to get the scrapper with the baffle?
And do I have to mail them my oil pan or no?

I paid $130 shipped for my setup. I did not opt for the Teflon scraper insert which, when installed properly, theoretically has a safe 0 clearance with the rotating assembly. Very cool concept, but all I wanted was to have a baffle in my pan so I could make hard right turns as cheaply as possible. You cannot use their old crank scraper because the newer one has studs on it for the windage tray and the baffles which stick down into the pan. You should not have to modify your oil pan in any way to get it to fit unless it is already warped. The device bolts directly between the block and the oil pan. EDIT: BTW, from the picture, seems like they didn't WELD the pieces together. did they?
If only using BOLTS, I start to worry what if they get loose from vibration??? I just want to ask and make sure. coz I really want to bulletproof my short block. Spent too much into it, I cannot lose it.

You can tack weld the parts if you are worried. The fasteners are flush mounted studs with nyloc type nuts. The nylon inserts are there to resist loosening from vibration.
