90798, need new ignition ... what are you guys running ?

I was thinking the best for a boosted setup

NGK Iridium IX plugs
Screamin demon coil
Msd wires

Anyone else has a better setup they could think of?

im pondering on goin withthe msd dis-4 with 4 coilpacks...but iono yet

you dont want to run irridium plugs... mine ran even worse with those, and i didnt think that was possible.

I have been thinking about finally looking to mod my ignition set up, but as far as calling the Screamin'Demon coil pack and Iridium plugs the best set up out there, well... :P

I think he means he wants to replace his stock stuff with upgraded "stock" equipment.

yea my stock ignition is shitty. When I hooked up a differant setup for a day, the thing ran like a beast so I know its time to replace my ignition and I might as well go with something better since Im doing it

In that case, I would advise using that coil, the wires and some fresh NGK plugs. Should set you straight. Methinks I need to do the same thing, actually. Fully built engine running a 9yr old, 171k miles on it OEM coil pack. :nono
