these are some basic, yet nice performance modifications i plan on performing in the next month...any comments on my choices, and or suggestions on other modifications for my ESi would be greatly appreciated by all of my fellow N/T drivers...thanks

save your money and get a turbo, if you search around and find good deals, you can make ur own kit for under 1000. you're going to end up spending just as much money n/a, you might as well just save some money and do whats gonna give you the best outcome, but if you've got your heart set on just wasting money and still having a honda civic ex beat you, go for it.

Excellent step in the right direction. I've got them on mine. Not the ultimate in performance, but a nice upgrade with the springs.

Pace Setter 4-2-1 (used) - $100 max If you wanted it coated, get it coated. You can also wrap it. At your level of tune, neither is really going to make much difference, so save your money.

Okay, I guess. I use Bosch silicone wires (stock replacement) from Autozone and I've had no problems with them. Then again, it might be time for me to do something about my ignition...

Hope this helps. If you ditch the wire idea and shop around to get the deals like I shared, you would save more than $500. Put that money into a UDP from Howell Automotive ($140 - a must have) and maybe step up to different struts, a brake upgrade (slotted rotors w/ ceramic pads), or just throw it in the bank for a turbo savings plan.

The problem with these mods is that, once you decide you're going to go turbo, you lose your ass on them. You can't use the header or intake with a turbo kit, so save as much as you can on them. When you upgrade, you could just give these parts to new people or sell them at low prices to recover some of your money ($10 for an intake you paid $30 hurts a lot less than $10 for one you paid almost $200 for). Either way, you offset your losses and help others out. Godo for you. Good for them. Good for our community.
