I was woundering this the other day. 2.4 block with SRT-4 pistons and rods, stock 2.0 head. And just so I learn something today. What is the stroke, length of the rods and the distance from the wrist pin to the top of the piston? Also the valve lift...distance travled...whatever the valves stick down into the cylinder. Basically so I can do the math myself. I know...I should know all this stuff before I bought the shit and had it assembled...just going off what other people have said/done. But it's never to late to learn...right?

well, i went to neons.org and it says that the 2.4 is NON interference....but it just said that for the SOHC. of you slap on our 2gnt heads....i honestly dunno. id assume that it still would be non interference :shrug but dont quote me on that

hmm, well i wonder...is it the HEAD or the BLOCK that determines wheather a motor is interference or not? i know it all has to do with the tollerences and overlap...but which has more pull in that?
i know its another set of questions in the thread...and not trying to hijack..but would be usefull info for me and anyone else wanting to know...and also you mikey

Alright, because I broke the unclefucking pin on the intake cam, I discovered that the son-of-a-bitch 2.4, with SRT pistons turned around, is non-interference.
Is that better? :D
