it means that the conenctor is loose, shorted, unplugged, or that the IAC is bad, clogged, or out of spec.

yeah, uh, spent all last weekend on this one so maybe I should chime in....
what did you do to get the code?

could be:

vacuum leak,
iac bad,
butterfly plate not closing all the way (or not fitting right if you got a new tb)

basically the IAC controls the idle speed by means of a plunger governing the butterfly plate bypass tunnel inside the throttle body. if the computer cannot get the rpm down to a target level on idle, it throws a cel 25 and starts to do whacky things with the IAC to compensate.

so check your connections like DarkOne suggested, and if that ain't it, give us some more background to go on.

that's weird that you would say something about the positive battery terminal because i had been having some problems with that lately with alot of corrosion and i couldnt get it to hold tight enough for a connection... cleaned it all off the other day and put a few washers on the bolt to help tighten down the terminal better and havent had a problem with it coming loose since though. do you think that this terminal issue could have had something to do with that code being thrown in some way?
