90251, COMPRESSION? BAD HEAD THOUGH?
Posted by willy, Jun-04-05 09:30 PM
My timing belt came off and i replaced all the timing parts and i started it up and it runs like shit and the timing is still on so obviously i need a head, right? Anyways since there may be a bent valve how can i check to see if the compression is any good? so if i plan to run turbo what type of modifications should i make to the head, if any?

No, you need new valves and a valve job. The head itself is likely just fine.

Do a compression test. Such an activity has been discussed and covered ad nauseum, so a search would be a good idea.

None. A stock head takes to forced induction just fine - Hahn has run high 10's on one.
