90223, Bought a 1988 Chevy Corsica :) hahahaha Posted by reeveso, Jun-03-05 07:10 PM
yea thats right, haha 100 bucks...no1's ever taught me nething about cars so i took it into my own hands to learn on my own..the girl i got it from (work with her) took it 2 a mechanic and he said the spark plug well hasta be re-threaded, so i figured i'd take a shot at it...lol i have little mechanical skill but i only paid 100 bucks so i dont really care if i screw it up...just wondering how hard it is to do (time is no problem at all)and what im gonna actually need to buy/do to do it..i know im gonna hafta take the head off and use a heli-coil on it..but i've never taken an engine apart so i dunno what to "make sure" i do so i dont screw it up..if any1 wants pics of it lemme know lol its such a POS..i dunno how to host
p.s.-it LITERALLY sounds like a lawnmower, except 2x as loud and shakes horribly, especially when im slowing down/stopped..it was the most embarassing thing i've ever had 2 do drivin it home lol, just wonderin if that would point 2 it not being able to hold plugs or if it'd be somethin else
