I think I blew a spring or valve??? I'm gonna pull the valve cover when I get a chance. I also noticed that my bov aint making a normal noise unless i hit a lot of boost. This tells me that there's a leak somewhere. I just pulled the whole system apart and found nothing. Could this engine problem be causing this?

I also am having a problem with my gauges and vaccuming readings. My pressure sensor for my e manage is reading a different number than my boost gauge. My profec/ e manage is reading like 8 on the vaccum, but my boost gauge is reading like 16-18. When I pull the valve cover im gonna try to pull the intake manifold too and check my pressure lines. I may have too mcuh crap coming off the same line.
How hard are the intake manifolds to get off. I was looking at it and noticed that the bols are really tough to get to. I just cleaned my tb and got a bunch of caked oily crap off of it, so I figure i need to do the intake manifold too since i had it ported a while back, it's pry all bogged down. While it's off, I've been doing a bunch of reserch on the forum on the mustang injectors, so rather than asking about them like a retard that most other guys do before they look, I'm gonna throw on either the 32 lb ones or maybe bigger, like the 42 i think they were. I'm looking for 350 to 400 hp.

Sorry for all of the questions on one post, but i haven't posted here before and obviously im here cause i got some questions.
I'm also planning on building my top end cause everything else on the motor is pretty set. The howell top end performance kit looks like what im going with.

Last part, e manage and profec e 01. Looks like no one really has one except me. The fuel curves are a piece of cake to set up, you can even adjust for bigger injector size so you don't mess with idle. It will configure all the fuel pressures for you. I just need the injecots now. It can also control the ignition so you can retard it, but I can't figure out how to wire the damn harness. the Greddy guy i talked to didn't even know. He said "good Luck" Help if anyone knows?
What else should I do to this car? I want to finish the motor and turbo system (350 or so hp)and quit spending money on it.

It sounds like the sensor is bad or the inlet could be gunked up like you noticed with the TB. I would trust a mechanical gauge over any sensor. Its probably a good idea that you check the stock MAP sensor as well if you're still using it.

The manifold isn't too hard to get out. Leave the stock fuel rail installed. Its easiest to unbolt most of the bolts/studs from under the car. There are a couple towards the tranny that are easy enough to get to from the top. You'll have to remove the TB and all of the wires, hoses, and fuel lines from the manifold/fuel rail. If you have a secondary fuel rail mounted on the back of it then remove it. The manifold should pull straight up and out after that.

Could you explain your fuel system with more detail? The reason I ask is the emanage is sort of flexable in how it can be setup. It can be setup as simple as a glorified SAFC, or as complicated as a secondary injector driver. Are you using the injector driver on the e-manage(using the e-manage injector harness) or are you just bypassing the stock MAP sensor and allowing the stock ECU run the injectors(using the stock injector harness)? Any info on your pressure regulator, lines, filter, pump(s), etc. would be interesting as well.

I don't know about the profec part, but I've seen a couple people using the e-manage. Kiku uses the emanage to run a secondary set of injectors, and I'm positive I've seen people using the emanage like an SAFC(MAP modifier). And yep, there are a couple of issues using the emanage for our ignition. I think there are some posts in this section or the advanced section that may shed some light on what the problems are. As far as I know, noone has been able to get it to work yet. I may be wrong about that though.

That was helpfu, thanks,
Yeah, i'm checking the vacuum lines on my car today. I think part of my problem of not getting the bov sound is that i'm running too many things off of the same vacuum line from my intake manifold. I have like 4 or 5 things off of it (pretty dumn of me). I'm gonna see if I can get my manifold off today and flush it out to get some of that oily gunk out of it and re-route my vacuum lines. I'll clean the bov too, i didn't do that last time with the intercooler and piping

The noise coming from my car sounds like it's off the #4 cylinder, but its only when I'm revving the car and it's not in gear. Could be a belt or something related to that maybe. I can't hear it when the car is driving or I'm hitting it hard, only when I revv or give it too much gas as I'm shifting.
I checked those other posts when I finally found something, no one has had success with the ignition. I have all of the harnesses for the e managed installed properly except ignition obviously. I get signals from the injecotrs, but I guess i haven't been adjusting the injectors, i've just been modifying the maf signal. My fuel system consists of the basic star stage ii components (walbro pump, vortech fmu) I pee in the gas tank every once and awhile cause it adds a few extra ponies!
I also noticed today that im having problems on the profec. I'm not sure of the gain settings for my car/turbo set up (Garrett T3/T04e 60trim 63 A/R). How I have it now, I hit it and I can hear the wastgate open up if I'm not giving it full throttle. It's annoying, My car can spool the bigger turbo pretty well, but the controller is limiting this. The profec is on learning setting rather than manual, and i think the gain is set at 40 with boost at 8lbs.
What da ya think?
