I agree. Your motor definitely did not survive and needs some help. Just to give you an idea of what the numbers for an 8.8:1 motor should be, I recently did a compression test on my motor (same compression - to see how it was holding up to higher boost levels and before installing the portfueler) and I had at least 191 psi in each cylinder.

We have only ever heard of one Melling Oil Pump failing, and when it did Melling paid to fix the engine for the customer.

What makes you think the oil pump failed, and something else didn't fail first? Postmortum on an engine is essential to understanding what failed.

If all you did was put on a new oil pump, and never tore the engine down, then your motor will fail again and quickly.

Compression should be around 180. I think 210 is a bit high for 8.8:1 cr.
