well i decided to check my codes just for the heck of it the other day and i find this : 31,32,14,51 ive eliminated my Evap and EGR so that is why 31,32 are on . and 14 is cause of my voltage clamp im using so thats no prb. but code 51 = engine running lean during vehicle operation is the one i dont get. why would that be there? car runs fine to me and my AF gauge only show lean when im like half throttle and boostin. do u think its just not used to seeing boost or is it something else? like i say it runs fine but it has that code.

ya i know . but , when does ecu perform this test to see if car is lean? any random time or all the time. i mean could one lean couple sec make this code come on. and i dont think this code does anything to retard timing or anything but i still dont like it.

I'm sure the ecu doesn't "test" for a lean condition. It would tell you that there WAS a lean condition.

I mean if your blinky light A/F gauge is lean while in boost...........

So your AF gauge doesn't move at all? Just stays in lean?

If the guage doesn't move your front o2 is probably going out on you. They get lazy but when your in closed loop it should go back and forth, full lean on decel and full rich at WOT.

no the gauge dont stay on lean its only lean if i am accelleratin and boostin at like 1/2 throttle. it is right how it should be . rich at full throttle. o2 is brand new
