OK guys...I am so fucking pissed.
Screaming at the fucking person in DMV, and all he said was... "sorry, it's the law" FUCK HIM.

I called him so many time and so on to make sure what is needed to get the parts to meet their requirements and here is what happened.

First time: if OEM, must have sticker on it with a reciept of the buyer, if aftermarket, must have reciept of its purchase.

Second time: aftermarket is the same, but if OEM, you must have sticker and reciept AND fill out a special "ownership transfer" form filled out by the seller. took me a few days in DMV to find out it doesn't exist!

Third time: aftermarket is the same, but if OEM, the part must have the original sticker on it (with VIN #), the reciept, and the ORIGINAL TITLE of the car where that part comes from! WHAT THE FUCK! WHO the fuck will let me use their title for JUST buying their part????? NOT COPY! MUST BE ORIGINAL title!!!! FUCK THEM!

Forth time: if OEM, MUST have title WITH the original owner of the part coming to the inspection with ME! of course with sticker, and so on... seriously... FUCK THEM!

FINE, I got there.
And they said! SORRY, your hood will be SURRENDERED to us again! I am like.... HUH??? second hood? they said since the sticker is not in it's original position, we assume it is taken off and put it back on again. (HOW THE FUCK DO I KNOW!) I am just a consumer!

So I spent $100 buying that new hood (good deal) but now I lost it, and have to surrender to DMV again (so that's 2 hood!) WHAT THE FUCK!

EDIT: and since the registration is expired, the car is sitting there with STOLEN HOOD (one in the truck too.....), and no registration. so it cannot be driven until I get another hood. I wasted $400 on this shit already. now another SHIT! then repaint! FUCK THEM ... FUCK USA, FUCK THE LAW! FUCK ALL DMV!

thats sucks man, sorry to hear that;
what state is this, didnt have to go through this shit when me and a friend rebuilt a total 3rd gen rx7. we just got everything on and together and drove to the dmv; had them quickly inspect it and we were off.


btw i have two new hoods to sell my dad works for the dmv and brought them home yesterda..... ((sorry had to))
