where in our cars are we suppose to mount the intake tube support brackets. i ordered a cheap cold air intake and it didnt come with directions, its nice though. just that i dont know how the pipe is suppose to stay still and secure and not jump around a lot. a picture of where these locations would be would be great, but any help is appreciated

the cheap ones let the upper pipe rest on the battery, and the lower pipe usually wants to clamp/bolt somewhere down around the horn. Hope that helps, your question isn't to specific.

Just drill a hole in the splash guard and zip tie the fucker to it, done. :thumbsup

Sure its not going to hurt anything but if you leave it hanging, eventually it will fall off. You may as well at least zip tie it.

alright, i used the little L-shaped brackets around the spot where the 2 pipes connect and i mounted it to the block with one of the screws. works really nice and doesnt rub against the battery at all. also i zip tied the bottom pipe to a bunch of wires in a wire loom and it holds damn well. doesnt move at all and i'm very happy with it. i'll have to get some pics up so everyone can see.

This is gonna be really ghetto but zip tie that thing the plastic around your fan. it sticks far enough away from the rotating blades that it won't hurt anything.
