After going through buying parts and building my motor with the small amount of time that I have, I have finished and it runs great. Tonight I finally finished my issues with a gushing water pump, a front main leak and cam gear situation. I got done and took my car for a drive, and it performed beautifully. I had great oil pressure, sounded great, ran great and gave me a hard on. :rolleyes Here's what's been done to my car thus far.
Bottom end: 8.8:1 JE pistons .020 over, Eagle H-beam rods, Clevite main and rod bearings, JE rings, Balanced rotating assembly, Unorthodox UDP, car quest water pump, Melling oil pump, new timing belt, crank scraper, mopar tensioner, new idler bearing and tensioner bearing.
Top end: Ported and polished head, ported and polished intake manifold, Modern Performance 60mm TB, Rev stainless valves, Crower stage 2 cams, Crower valve springs and titanium retainers, Fidanza adjustable cam gears.
Drivetrain: Spec stage 4 clutch (that's all)
Suspension: Eibach Coilovers, AGX gas adjustable struts, Rear tower bar. Sotck black rims wraped in Toyo Proxes.
Intake and exhaust: AEM Cold air intake, Magnaflow cat back exhaust.
Body: Evo carbon fiber hood, Carbon fiber spoiler (only 8" tall), Carbon fiber mirrors.
I am just so pumped up and can't wait to boost in just a month or two, I plan on boosting to 15psi with my own custom kit. Thanks for all the help fellas, I couldn't have gotten there without all of you. Now I can help others out when they do it. :)

Hey, throw some pictures of your set up. For the list you have, I'm sure it runs great. HINT: Do a lot of downshifting(not hard) to accelerate the breaking process. Each day you will notice that the engine will fill stronger.

Hey, I have one question, how bad is piston slap supposed to sound? I am getting a little worried by the sound of things. Also, how bad are the crower 2's supposed to lope? Also, does someone want to host the pic of my car for me?? It's not a very good one, but I'll post another one soon.

piston slap is kind of a deep hollow sound of the skirt hitting the cylinder wall, but if you just rebuilt and had it all machined properly than i don't think that would happen

actually piston slap sounds like a diesel engine, just not as loud. I have it, i know. And my block was machined to perfection straight from the JE paper that you get with your pistons and I have some slap just because the pistons havent expanded yet. It will be kind of loud when cold but when at operating temp, it should be loud at all. If you want a cound clip of mine, search around in this forum, we posted a link to a video clip of mine so everyone could here waht it sounds like :)

Yeah, I found the video of the piston slap right after I posted. That's just what mine sounds like, wahoo, my eclipse is a diesel! :) Here's my car, kinda crappy pic, but I'll get a new one soon.
