Did you guys get a gasket for the manifold to the downpipe flange? I have a bad leak there, because I didn't get one of those gaskets. I ordered a set of hardware for it for my avenger, but I didn't remember it coming with that gasket. I took it off the avenger becasue I have an eclipse now. It didn't used to leak that bad on the avenger, but it leaks terrible on the eclipse. It is throwing a check engine lihgt for the front o2 because of the extra oxygen coming in the pipe. I just bought new o2s because we could not get the old ones off when we did the exhaust and header. The bolts to the cat were so rusted we had to take the whole mid-section out in one piece and just use the old cat from my avenger.

yeah I think I did have to buy the gasket from the head to the header.

Yeah, I knew that. The one I am questioning is the one where the manifold meets the downpipe, not where the manifold meets the head.

ok mine came with a gasket for that. and make sure you use lockwashers or locknuts, cause those 3-4 bolts are prone to loosening.

Thanks a lot. I guess I will have to call Bosal up and order one. My car is just dumping in fuel because of that o2 sensor. It sounds like it's cammed when it's idling. I need to get that fixed.

I never had a gasket for that particular joint. What I ended up doing is - every time I take it apart I would douse both sides with copper gasket spray. It worked for me just fine. I called bosal at one point to see if I could get a gasket for that section and they told me I could, but I never really followed through with it...so I'm sure you can get a gasket for it. But if all else fails - flatten both surfaces and use some copper gasket spray. It'll seal up.

Mine came with a gasket. Give them a ring and snag one. And to ech above, use lockwashers.
