alright, i know this is a complete BANME! post, but here goes:

I drive a 95 RS m/t with 141,xxx miles. Its got basics on looks and engine, mainly 18" rims, lowered, intake, complete exhaust, ported tb, ect. I'm in the process of building the head right now, pt lifters, regrind cams, aem gears, rockers, crane springs, ect.

Now should i also rebuild bottom end before adding a t3/t4 turbo? I'm planning on building the bottom end too, or ordering the short block from howell with everything built and ported already. But i'm not a patient person, and i want turbo Now! someone please lmk, thanks.

i guess it depends on what u want... if you want more than 10psi, rebuild the bottom, if you want to take the time to build it yourself, go for it, if you want to get a shortblock from howell go for it, its whatever you want to do, try searching around on here, you will find more than enough information to help you make the right choice, search search search

i'm just afraid of blowing a piston or something, should i worry about that with 140,xxx? or is that more likely with a turbo?

i would say just save yourself from worrying about it and build the bottom end first, then you can go well past 10 psi...thats what i would do anyways

miles arent so much a concern as compression numbers are. do a compression test and tell us what it says.

i'm more of a body/electrical person, i dont know a ton about engine work, how much would a compression test cost me?

$30 for the tester and then free every time after that.
