Where should I go to get relays on the driver's side firewall? Pep Boys? dealer?

Definatley try pep boys or napa first before you go to the dealer!

You can also go to any alarm/stereo shop and ask for a relay..they will plug right into the car socket..If you want an exact replacement, you may have to get those from Napa or the dealer.. All you need is any 12volt SPDT relay(5 pin)

are you talking about the relays in the fusebox in the engine compartment? if so, I have some for sale - make me an offer (PM me)

hmm I think he's talking about the spark and fuel relays the ones you gotta unplug to do a compression test.

I read a couple of posts where people thought their relays were going bad. I think my ignition switch is the problem. The car turns over, but won't start. The battery's new and I can hear the fuel pump kicking on like it should. When I wiggle the key in the ignition and try again, it works.

I talked to a guy at work who had to replace his ignition switch. I guess I have go to the dealer for this. Has anyone replaced their ignition switch? tia

If it is your IG switch, then its really easy to test with a test light. When its not cranking over, get at the black/red wire at the ignition switch wire harness, and probe it with your test light. Turn the key to the crank position and the test light should light up. If it doesnt, then its pretty much a problem with your switch. I've never had to replace mine, but i've seen it with the cowl off, and it doesnt look that hard to do. You may need a special tool/bit/socket to get it out, as some ignition switches use special headed bolts/screws to hold them in.
