88649, The CORRECT Crank Bolt Size Posted by UpToSpeed, Apr-24-05 06:40 AM
I just wanted to post this up if anyone is searching... Before doing my install I did a search for the correct long bolt size so I could order it. What I found on the boards is 12mm x 1.50 ... this is NOT correct... It'll thread in but you'll f'up your crank. I had to retap the hole :\
SO, the correct size for that crank pulley bolt if you're taking it off or installing a UDP or whatever is:
12mm x 1.75 ... You can use a 120mm long bolt to pull with.
Just didn't want anyone to go through the horrors that it did.

Thanks, I'm going to go check mine right now. I had to replace it with something else when mine broke.
