i have a 1995 rs. when i got to start my car it will crank over but wont start. if i do it again right after that, it decides to start but very rough. once it starts it runs good. replaced plugs, plug wires, coil, tps, fuel pump, fuel pump relay, fuel injection relay, crank sensors tested fine. what could the problem be? please help.

I would say it is possible that you have some leaky injectors. What happens is when you turn your car off and it sets for a while, fuel leaks from the injectors and semi floods the engine. That is why it is hard to start and once it does start it runs ruff until the excess fuel burns off.

what do i need to look for to find out if that is the problem.

After your car has set for a while, like over night. You can try taking off the intake pipe and open the throttle body. Then smell to see if there is a strong odor of gas. Or you may try pulling the spark plugs out and look down into the cylinders to see if the top of any of the pistons are wet.

Of course if you access to a fuel pressure gauge you can use that to see how fast the fuel pressure drops once you turn the engine off.

I had similar problems on a neon with a bad fuel pump regulator.
you can check with a fuel pressure guage and see what its at.

Could also just be a bad battery/corroded battery terminals

Yes.

when it does finally start it chokes then runs great untill i shut it off and dont try starting it for a couple of hours.

Try pressing the pressure release button on the passenger side of the fuel rail with like a screwdriver or knife something to get in there and push it, next time it doesn't start. That works for my car, and I still don't know why...it is driving me crazy...it seems like nobody knows...

LEAVE THE FUEL SYSTEM ALONE!!!!! Check your coolant level. the car must be COLD. open the cap by the upper hose, don't even look at the reservoir (unless that's empty) your car is displaying symptoms of a bubble in the cooling system. you probably need to burp the cooling system.
