8840, How would you guys like Cams that fit into our head?
Posted by Michael_97RS, Oct-15-01 10:36 AM
I talked to Brian at Crower and they were trying to get Cams and Valvetrain components (springs and retainers) for our 420A. But they didn't have a head. So for a deal on cams and springs/titanium retainers, I offered to send them my spare head and cams to get it right. So hopefully soon we will have a drop in replacement option for Cams. (unlike Cranes...).

I'll keep you guys posted.

Crane's valvetrain parts will work from the Neon or PT Cruiser, and I'm tired of waiting for the Cams they keep saying will be right. They were suppose to be fixed 6 months ago.

I bought the set of stock cams from Stan, so once my moneys gets to him and the cams get to me, I'm shipping everything off to Crower. I think they wanted Cams out around the first of the year. I'm going to get a lot more detail next time I call.
