Dumb question probably, but I've always known it as MAP Sensor for my 99 eclipse rs. I called up mitsubishi parts to order a new one, and the guy said he didn't know what I was talking about and mitsubishi doesn't carry any map sensors and their probably called something else. He told me to call him back with my VIN number, but before I do that, I am curious to know what else are our map sensors called? :shrug

yea thanks man, I called back and spoke to someone different and asked for a MAP Sensor. The guy just asked for my vin and told me it would be $180. Guess the other guy was just a moron.

This was Koepel mitsubishi of NYC if anybody is interested in who is trying to rip me off by charging $180 for it. Thanks for the heads up on the other vendors that sells it for cheap. Will come in handy.

there not trying to rip you off, they're a dealer, thats just how they sell things. they wanted $100 for a new center vent section. everything is outragiously expensive at dealers.
