Ok, so here is the deal. I work with this new kid at work and he has a Talon Esi, he was claiming how he ran 15s and had all this engine work done and a new tranny put in. Anyways imediatley this got me all cluster fucked. I don't like it when people cant get their shit strait. Ok, your car is slow just admit it no need for bullshit so someone can own you later and make you a lier. I try my best to explain the properties of the 2gnt but people insist they know what the fuck they are talking about. Ohh yea.. I have a computer in it, yea and if you did it will do jack shit for you unless you have supporting mods to take advantage of that added fuel and timing. So after work I have a run with this kid and took him twice on a rolling start from 40mph. The other two we started from a stop at a light and as I started to gain his top end got the best of me because of his exhaust. (Also may I add I was behind him at the light from the stop). He also says how he is going to put the turbo engine in his car for really cheap. I was like no dude, there is so much shit that has to be rearranged under the hood and you would need to swap so much shit it is'nt even worth it, not the mention the shit will probably get fucked up if you were to get it running in the car, and it deffintley would not be easy or inexpensive to do all of this. So with this all said I need to get the facts strait and pointed out to him maybe we can still save him. With your responses and added info I will print out this thread and show this to him and my other co-worker. I just need to give them the correct faqs, because I can't have intelligent conversations until this is clarified. The kid is cool, just want to try and help him out with this shit as best as I can.

I was talking to a kid once who starts out the convo about my car then proceeds to tell me how he has a twin turbo RS 4g63 AWD conversion :rolleyes I laughed and laughed and laughed and tried to explain how dumb he sounded and he just got mad. So when I said "Okay, let's see the car"....guess what? That's right "Oh, well it's not really mine, it's a friend of my cousin's in North Carolina." So then we talked about it a bit further and I offered to buy plane tickets for both of us to fly down and take a look at the car because I was REALLY interested in it. And of course "Oh, well I think he sold it to someone."


So in one convo he went from owning it, to it belonging to his cousings friend half way across the country, to it being sold. AKA He's making up bullshit :thumbsup

it could be worse...a friend of mine had a guy a few days ago bragging to him about his B16 civic that's running a T88 turbocharger and makes 520hp on the stock bottom end. yeah, he said T88 on a 4-cylinder.

a friend of mine told he his brother's GS-T had 3 turbos!! lol. and it was 800hp...:rolleyes

this kid from my school told me that he had a T-90 on his cavalier... i looked under his car, headers went strait to the cat lol
