87926, Turbo Kits.... Posted by ColtsNumba1Fan, Apr-06-05 08:33 PM
...I decided to buy 1 for my 96 RS, but I need to know where to look to find the best deal I can, I've checked a few car sites I know of and nothing except for a 95-99 gst or gsx and we all know that wont work, but anyone have any idea where to look for these kits at?
...Does anyone have dual exhaust? My buddy tried to talk me into having someone hook it up to where I can add another Vibrant muffler and the catback pipe it comes with to the car, any idea if this will work or if its even a good idea...

http://www.turbo-kits.com/eclipse_turbo_kits.html - says will beat any price quote for Star kit.
http://www.hahnracecraft.com/auto/eclipse/eclipse.htm
http://www.turbocalculator.com/sale-turbokits.php - can start custom here.
http://www.prostreetonline.com/buy/turbo_specialties_extreme_turbo_kits/me25b2x/ - never even heard of that one. You can click on the "turbo kits" tab and they have a kit with the non ball bearing turbo.
http://www.importperformanceparts.net/imports/turbospec_mitsubishi.html -looks like this place has the same as above but cheaper.
http://search-desc.ebay.com/420a-turbo-kit_W0QQfkrZ1QQfnuZ1QQftsZ2QQxpufuZxQ5A1 - ebay has everything.
www.google.com
There's more places with the same kits, use the link above ;)
As for the duals, there's really no need for them.

Go to www.Hahnracecraft.com
Duals just add weight, ultimately making you slower.

Not a good idea. Looks dumb on a 4cyl car and people who know what their talking about (the people you want respect from) will laugh at you if you do it.

your two best bets are either getting a hahn racecraft turbo kit, or a star turbo kit, those are the two basic units that people on this forum use, hahn makes kits from stage 1 through stage 5 and they've got great technical support if you need to ask them any questions, star kits as far as i know come in stage 1 or stage 2, and i don't know if you can just call in and get help, but hey thats what this forums for right!
