I just read that they are a bit more "agessive" than our 2.0 cams. Also I read that when I swap the 2.4 into my car I should also at least upgrade the cams...so my question is...can I use the 2.4 cams in my 2.0 head? Or is this even worth the effort?

They're not. The opposite, in fact. a lot of 2.4L owners (srt4 people included) swap to 2.0L Neon cams.

hey, since I started a topic I'm gonna ask another question. Why do we HAVE to use a UDP? I've seen several places stating we have to...but no reason why. Just curious :shrug

The reason for the UDP is for clearance between the body of the car and that side of the motor.

If ytou use a Stratus oil pump, then you have ti use a smalle rdiameter pulley because the oil filter projection will hit a stock sized 2.0L pulley.
The 2.4L pullis i've seen are reversed from ours - small pulley on the inside, large pulley on the outside, so they wouldn't have any clearance problems... but you'd be severaly underdriving your alternator and very overdriving your AC and PS if you were to use one.

I CAN ATTEST TO THIS!
the car wouldnt even hold a good charge with the 2.4L UDP on, i had to use the AF/X for the 2.0. HAD TO.

speaking of cams stock 2.4 have more duration than stock 2.0 but they also have less lift and the exhaust cam is a joke we tried a mixed set on a 2.0 neon last year stock 2.4 on the intake and stock 2.0 exhaust the car gained a lot on the mid band on the top end if was not really noticeable however

just thought id throw this in here, but a NA 2.4L 420a with srt internals (8:1) and crower 2 cams is SLOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW without a turbo! BWAHAHAHAHA you dont even know, its such a dog without boost!

if you're ever so priveleged to be in a NA srt-4 talon 420a hybrid, you'll know what i mean...it gets up and goes (torque) but has noooo power! its funny :)
