Does anybody's car blow cool air when the heat is on while idling?

That's a sign of not having enough coolant in the system. You need to wait until the car cools down and fill it back up. Also a good time to pick up a $5 radiator cap. When the seals crack and rot away, they allow steam to escape. Steam is your coolant in vapor form. Lose enough and there's nothing circulating in your heater core. Why do you still have your heater going now, anyways? It's almost 90* out there! :P

Dude I live in nc, the weather is freaky around here. warm during the day, just cold enough to use heat at night. But I appreciate the quick reply.
