Has anyone used a 2003-up neon tranny with hydrolic clutch and converted it to cable clutch?

You don't convert it to cable, the Eclipse's use a hydraulic clutch. 2000 and older Neon's use a cable and have to be converted to hydraulic by switching the bell housings to be able to use them in the Eclipse's

correct. your 01 SHOULD BE a direct swap. Its Hydraulic just like ours. The OLDER < 2000 neons used a cable clutch.
